I’ve built many things this past year — stories, notebooks, books, covers, ideas. Some were finished. Others are still waiting. But all of them began the same way: with one page.

A year ago, I created my first Facebook page. I had no real plan — only the need to create something meaningful. Since then, I’ve written and published books, designed notebooks, and slowly learned how to build something from nothing.

It hasn’t been easy. There were moments I doubted everything. Moments, I stared at a blank screen and wondered if any of this was worth it. But there was always a reason to continue — sometimes small, sometimes big. A message from a reader. A comment from a friend. And the biggest prize — My son’s smile when he saw his stories in a book.

And maybe that’s why this space matters to me.
It isn’t for perfect sentences or big announcements. It’s for the parts of the journey that don’t fit anywhere else — the lessons, the thoughts, the unfinished drafts, the things I’m still figuring out.

This is the first page.
Thank you for reading it.
Wherever you are, I’m glad you’re here.

  1. You’re so right. I came in to writing by pure accident. I joke about it all of the time. I tell people it’s like one day I woke up and had been blessed with a Superpower I had no idea I had? I never thought or dreamed about writing or writing and publishing a book, novel,. children’s book, or blog. But one day I sat down and started writing, I have no idea where is comes from… It just happens.

Again Georgi, this is an amazing post. Thank you

    1. That’s such a wonderful way to describe it—a Superpower you didn’t know you had! I love that image. I think some of the most authentic writing comes exactly that way… unplanned, unexpected, almost like it chooses us. I’m so glad you sat down that day and started, and I’m grateful our paths have crossed here. Thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot. 🌿✍️
