Books don’t ask questions.
They just wait, patiently,
until you’re ready
to come back to yourself.
Today’s reminder: Some stories meet you exactly where you are — and remind you who you’ve always been.

I know exactly what you mean. An avid reader for longer than I can remember, your words carry such a delightful truth and honesty. I couldn’t wait to get back to next page of discovery in an entertaining novel. I used to carry an harmful so heavy I don’t know to this day how I made it home every single one in tact. Within a matter of days I’d repeat the process until the librarian assured me id read everything they had – well since I wasn’t into heavy historical or westerns which left plenty of options. Your vision sits warm friendly and comforting. Ty.

Thank you so much for sharing that wonderful memory. I can almost picture you walking home with those heavy stacks of books — what a beautiful kind of curiosity to carry. Reading really is one of the most joyful ways to keep discovering new worlds. I’m glad the post felt warm and comforting to you.
