Some time ago, I shared with you my decision not to publish my book, The Echoes of the Five Seasons. It wasn’t an easy decision, but deep inside I knew it was the right one.
Over the following weeks, I realized something important.
Every spring brings new beginnings. Every summer leaves us with new memories. Every autumn teaches us something different. Every winter invites a new kind of quiet. No matter how many essays I wrote, I knew there would always be another story waiting just around the corner.
So instead of placing those reflections between the covers of a book, I decided to give them a different home.
Today, I am happy to share the new Seasons section on my website.
There, you can explore my reflections organized into Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Some of the essays may already be familiar to you, while others may be waiting to be discovered for the first time.
The part I love most is that this collection will never truly be complete.
It will continue to grow, one season at a time, just as life does.
If you ever feel like slowing down for a few minutes, remembering a childhood summer, walking through an autumn afternoon, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a cup of coffee, I hope you’ll visit this little corner of my website.
Perhaps one of the stories will remind you of a season from your own life.
Thank you, as always, for being part of this journey.

Like infinity, reflections have no end. A childhood summer, a walk through an autumn afternoon, memories of a quiet cup of coffee…, just as you said. Hope to be here often.

I love the way you said this—reflections really have no end. Sometimes the smallest moments become the memories that stay with us the longest. I’ll be very happy to have you here.

Enjoyed the post about deciding not to make a paper book. Why not make a book a living document? Blogs make that possible. Well done!

Thank you so much! I really love the way you describe it as a “living document.” That’s exactly what excites me about this decision—the collection doesn’t need to be finished, because it can keep growing and changing with every new season and every new story.

Exactly! That’s one of the things I love most about this idea. Every season and every ordinary day can bring a new memory, a new reflection, and another story for the shelf. The little library may never be finished—and I think that’s beautiful.

I rather love this idea Georgi. A book eventually has to suffer the indignity of being finished, while the seasons have no need to respect deadlines. Besides, just when you think you have said everything there is to say about autumn, one particularly ambitious leaf lands at your feet and demands its own essay. Nature, it seems, has never heard of a final draft. 🙂

I absolutely love this way of looking at it! “Nature has never heard of a final draft” could not be more perfect. And you’re right—just when I think a seasonal shelf is complete, one ambitious leaf, a first snowfall, or a familiar summer sound may arrive with another story. Perhaps that is the greatest freedom of this little library: it never has to be finished.

Thank you so much! I love the way you said “the unfolding seasons.” Each one brings its own stories, memories, and little surprises, and I’m looking forward to sharing them as they come.

Thank you so much, Rosie! I’m excited to see how it grows too, because I think that’s the beauty of this little seasonal library—it will never really be finished. There will always be another season, another memory, and another story to add.
